ABODA has many contacts with other organisations involved in music education. Most organisations, although having music as the common theme have a particular focus. ABODA, for example, looks to the education and general craft improvement of conductors. BUT as we all know, there is not point in having a highly skilled conductor if there is no ensemble to conduct. In many instances it is difficult to distinguish between training the conductor and training the ensemble, after all both should be literally reading from the same sheet of music.
